Blake and Maren :: MARRIED

Phew! So… my hard drive crashed a week ago. Yeah. Luckily I back up all of my clients’ files, so that wasn’t a problem, but I’ve been scrambling all week to catch up by re-editing basically a whole wedding that I was in the middle of editing. PSH. So that explain the absence of new posts a bit, but I’m glad to be back! And thanks to the hard drive crash, I’ve had a great excuse to redesign my watermark and logo. You’ll have to let me know what you think!

These two fantastic people got married back in December and it was so fun to work with them! I love that Maren opted to wear wool socks. It was a bitter cold day, too!

Kudos to Maren on this one. I would have flipped if my husband spontaneously dipped me out over the stairs! PAH!

LOVE LOVE LOVE the lilies mixed with the roses. Yum.

So sweet. 🙂

Nick and Rachel :: Hoping to Adopt!!

I can’t even begin to express how much my husband and I adore this couple! Ironically, they both grew up in my husband’s stake, but didn’t really meet each other until they were in the same student ward at BYU! Kirby and Nick were roomies, and Nick and Rachel got married just before Kirby and I met. We were so sad when they moved to Colorado for Nick to get his doctorate. So you can imagine how excited I was when they came to visit over Thanksgiving and asked me to take pictures of them for their adoption profile! SO FUN. For anyone who is interested to learn more, visit their BLOG!

GORGEOUS! Anyone in the market for a model? I know someone you can call! 😉

We figured that since the wind was blowing Rachel’s hair all dramatic-like, we needed a hardcore serious one…

I love how this last one turned out! Mountains, cranes, blue sky…

Thanks again, you two! Come back and visit again soon!! 🙂

The *B* Family (Does it feel like I’ve had a lot of those lately???)

Phew! So I feel like I’ve been running a marathon with all the editing and posting I’ve been needing to do! Unfortunately for all y’all, I tend to let the blog posts fall by the wayside! But I had to get this family’s pictures up because the oldest has gone back to London, and she needs to see them!! 🙂 Hope you enjoy!

Wallace & Gromit anyone? 🙂

Poor Meagan is the shortest of the bunch…

Now for the solo shots! Ian here is graduating this year, which is crazy to me because he goes to school with my little brother. (Little is a relative term–he’s 6’6″!)

Love this shot. Ian proceeded to scale the 15 foot wall to attack his dad after this… Just goes to show you–you are never ever safe from tall people!

Thanks so much for the crazy fun time! 🙂

Ben and Meridith :: MARRIED!

So, this one time this lovely couple got married 10 days after I gave birth to my first child. As a precaution–just in case I had to have an emergency c-section or something–we took pictures on the temple grounds a couple weeks before I was due. Turns out I was doing great the day of the wedding, but it was a good thing we took pictures early because the day of the wedding looked like this:

And this:

(notice the horizontal snow? Yeah. Full on blizzard with freezing temperatures…)

So here they are! The shots from the nice sunny day! 🙂

The *B* Family

Wow! Two in one day! Maybe I am on a roll! 🙂

This is one of those “Real-Life”  shots I love… You can totally tell they are all trying to escape… 🙂

All the grandchildren!

Yet another Real-World shot. And I love it. What kind of little boy sits still anyways? 🙂
