Wow. We were sure fighting a thunderstorm today! We pulled through, though, and thanks to Brian’s connections we were able to take a couple indoors. Here’s a couple of my favorites! Enjoy!

Yeah yeah, I know. I have been so slacking. Let’s just say I had a bunch of jobs come up within days of each other, including a week long vacation to Oregon, which resulted in me desperately trying to simply get the images edited in a timely fashion for my clients. Thus, the photo blog fell to the wayside. But no longer! Here is the first of a bunch of posts! Enjoy! These two were absolutely fabulous.

I honestly can’t remember what exactly was so funny in this moment, but I love this picture all the same. 🙂

Taken inside Sammies–more for the sentimental value than for the location. It’s where they got engaged! Awww…

Hahaha. This is what happens when Brian whispers “sweet nothings” to Whitney. Hilarity ensues. 🙂

I love this one. Love love love.

Thanks again, you two! I had a blast getting to know you and photographing your beautiful faces! 🙂
This past Saturday I got to meet up with these two for an awesome shoot! They’re getting married in April, so the time has come to get engagement pictures. I’m not sure if I have ever laughed so much on an engagement shoot. These two were a hoot and a half. Thanks so much for a great time, you guys!

This was in preparation for the jumping picture you will see later. I just thought it was cute, and I love the colors!

Did I mention laughing???

This started out as a joke–but the blue is actually really fun!

Beautiful people…

They actually predicted they would have to do a jumping one. And they indulged me. 🙂 Thanks guys. I had a blast going through all these… 🙂

“I’ve never kissed on camera before!” Yeah. It took a bit. But it didn’t take Matt long to warm up to the idea. 🙂

This last picture was one of those that had me busting a gut I was laughing so hard. Not the editing–the actual taking of the picture. Matt had to practice so he could remember the face he was trying to make. Love it.

Thanks again, you two! I really had a blast! You were so fun to hang out with!
Also–keep an eye out! This gorgeous girl has already had her bridals done, too! They’ll be up before you know it, and she is drop dead gorgeous! You won’t want to miss ’em! 🙂
I am currently having a special that involves all of you! For every bride you refer to me who books me as her photographer, I will personally give you $50 cash. Not print credit, or credit towards a photo session, but real, hard cash. You can use it for whatever makes your heart the happiest! Simply give them my information, or send them here to my blog, and if they decide to book with me, make sure they mention your name! But don’t worry–I’ll be asking them if they were referred by anyone, too. I’ve got you covered!
Cody and Jewelyn were fantastic! I had a blast shooting with them on Monday. And I have to admit, I had such a hard time narrowing these down for the post! They were just too fantastic!
This was a fun time. Took a bit for the smiling and giggling to subside before we got the hard-core serious look. And then it turned out I liked the one with Cody smiling best anyways! The hard-core one was pretty great, too. 🙂
Thanks, you two, for a great time!
Love is in the air! (Okay, I know that was cheesy, but I was struggling for anything better. Lame, I know…) I have been lucky to know these two fantastic people for several years now, and I am so excited for them! We got together to take some engagements about a week ago and it has just taken me awhile to get these up!
Smoochie Smoochie! These two didn’t hesitate to admit that these shots were their favorite to take…
I love this one. Brandon is pretty hardcore and Jenny is learning. 🙂 Super cute.
And yeah. Not exactly an engagement picture, but when Jenny jokingly put on Brandon’s hat that was stashed in the back of the jeep I loved it. So… basically I had her wear it for several more shots. 🙂
Jenny’s eyes are gorgeous. No offense, Brandon, but I think her eyes outscore yours on the “stunning” factor.
And, this one is definitely one of my favorites. I love the zig-zagging lines!
Thanks Jenny and Brandon! October 18th is coming up fast and I can’t wait! 🙂
