Garrett & Jenny :: MARRIED

I’m finally getting back into the blogging game! And I have TONS to share with you! I’m really backed up thanks to my neglect (which I blame on many things, including pregnancy, a move from UT to WA, my husband’s graduation, and a crazy summer before that!), but I’m determined to get caught up in the next week or so, so watch out! 🙂

Garrett and Jenny got married this past September, and they looked positively phenomenal. See for yourselves!

How yummy is this solar flare!?

Gorgeous. She is positively gorgeous.

I’m going to miss shooting in Salt Lake all the time, that’s for sure!

Jed & Rebekah :: Married!

Wow. Apologies for my lengthy absence! It got a little crazy out there in Florida, and then we had the whole move back, and yada yada. But I’m back and I have so much to share! 🙂

Jed and Rebekah got married back in July. It was a gorgeous day for a wedding! Thanks so much for letting me share in your special day!

Jaren & Elisabeth :: ENGAGED

Jaren and Elisabeth are fabulous. They both worked with my husband before we came out to Florida, so when they asked me to squeeze in an engagement session when I flew out to Utah, I was absolutely thrilled.

We had plenty of giggle moments. They are my favorites! 🙂

Is she stunning or what!?

Did I mention how gorgeous this girl is!?

Thanks so much, you two! I had a BLAST shooting with you! 🙂

Garrett & Jenny :: ENGAGED

What. A. Blast.

Seriously.

Garrett and I went to high school together and really–he was pretty much the best guy friend a girl could ever ask for. No joke. So I was absolutely thrilled when I found out he was engaged, and BEYOND thrilled when he and Jenny asked me to do their pictures! I had so much fun shooting with them, and because of that I had a killer time trying to narrow down my selection for the blog. I started out with 45 images (give or take a couple), so really–y’all are lucky I was able to get it down to 25! Plus–one of these isn’t even of them. It’s of me. 🙂

A tire swing? Seriously!? Obviously, I couldn’t resist… 🙂

Why am I posting a picture of me? Well, I wanted y’all to see the lengths I go to to get pictures. Yeah. I know. I look like I’m about to get struck by lightning. I don’t know if I’d go THAT far… But Garrett and Jenny sure had a good laugh when they saw me at the bottom of the slide, so they insisted on getting a picture. And no. I didn’t even slide down the slide. Just stood on it. Oh yeah. And almost fell off of it, too. Twice. 🙂

Old tubs? Sign me up.

Garrett and Jenny got engaged at Discovery Park, so–to satisfy my cheesy side–we did a little reenactment. In the exact location he proposed. You know it!

Okay, let’s be honest. This was what the shoot was like half the time. Goofballs…. 🙂

I spy, with my little eye… Someone that is GORGEOUS!!!

And there they go… off into the sunset…

…on their tiny. little. scooter. thing. 🙂

John and Cassi :: Married!

We really lucked out the day these two got married! The forecast was predicting snow pretty much all day, but all we saw were blue skies! I have to warn you, though–I had a very difficult time narrowing these down, so eventually I just thought, “Why bother!? I’ll just post a ton!” 🙂 Hope you enjoy them!

I loved this moment…

Check out Cassi’s boots! LOVE!

Again… loved the boots.

The elevator shot took two tries… It took us a bit to get centered and everything, and after holding the “door open” button for a while it started to buzz at us! In shock, dear Amy released the button, sending my bride and groom away. But the second time was much more successful! And thank you, Amy, for your ninja invisibility skills!

This is one of my favorite shots from the luncheon. I can’t remember what John was celebrating over, but it was fabulous!

All of Cassi’s brothers broke into the haka (the words were improvised…). So funny.

Thanks again, John and Cassi, for letting me share your special day with you!
